While we recommend following the instructions listed on the product packaging, dryer sheets can be rubbed directly onto your garments to add fragrance, soften, and reduce static cling. However, dryer sheets can leave a waxy or oily residue when applied directly to garments, which might stain dark or delicate fabrics. Prolonged use may also cause a build-up of ingredients, affecting the fabric's breathability and feel. Avoid using dryer sheets on delicate fabrics and always read the care instructions listed your clothes.

If you use a generic fabric softener alongside Laundry Sauce Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods, this may lessen the strength of the Laundry Sauce fragrance. That’s why we recommend using unscented fabric softener or Laundry Sauce’s Performance Laundry Fabric Softener, which comes in the same luxury fragrances that our customers love. Check them out here!
If you have a high-efficiency (HE) front-loading machine, measure the correct amount of fabric softener using the fill lines in the measuring cap and pour it into the automatic softener dispenser tray at the same time you add detergent.
If you have a regular top-loading machine and an automatic machine dispenser (a cup-like device in the center column of the machine), measure the correct amount of fabric conditioner using the fill lines in the measuring cap, and pour it into the dispenser at the same time you add detergent.
If you don’t have a machine dispenser, the trick is knowing when to add fabric conditioner to the washing machine. It’s important to add the fabric conditioner during the rinse cycle, because the wash cycle can clean away the fabric conditioner. Just be sure to pour it into the water pockets, to prevent any chance of stains.
For best results, don’t overload your washing machine and always read your garment’s care instructions before the wash cycle to prevent damage.
Yes! You should be able to use our Performance Laundry Fabric Softener with luxury cotton towels. Keep in mind that using fabric softeners may decrease the towels' level of absorption after washing. With that said, we always recommend reading and following the care instructions for clothing and linens to ensure no unnecessary damage is caused to the materials during a wash cycle.
When used properly, laundry fabric softeners should not clog a washing machine.
Great question! Wood-wicks are cut to a specification of .20” wood-wick length above the wax. This allows for the ideal wood-wick length for the initial lighting of the candle. Occasionally, a wood-wick may be cut shorter, which would be considered a defect, causing a wick to have trouble lighting or holding the flame. Additionally, due to the nature of wood-wicks being an all natural product, from time to time, there will be wood grains that cause the fuel source to deviate. The Ultimate Wick Channel does a very good job of improving the efficiency and stability of the flame but there might still be some outliers. In the event your Laundry Sauce Luxury 3-Wick Candle (Bougie Parfumée) is having trouble lighting or holding the flame, just let us know and we will work to make this right.
Pro Tip: If the wood-wick is cut shorter than the specified .20” wood-wick length above the wax, you can grab a spoon to pull away wax from the defective wood wick and attempt to light the defective wood-wick to see if it will hold the flame with less wax surrounding it.

Like a cotton wick, you want to trim your wooden wick before every burn. While the advised height for cotton wicks is ¼”, wooden wicks only need to be at 1/8″ – 3/16″. The shorter height allows the wax to capillary up the wick to feed the flame properly.
We recommend a nice pair of wick trimmers! It’s easy and neat since wick trimmers have a little spot to catch the debris that you’re trimming. If you don’t have a wick trimmer, you can easily break off the ashy part of the wooden wick with another tool. Do not attempt to trim your wick if the wick or wax is still hot. You want to wait for your candle to be cool before trimming the wick for safety reasons as well as easy maintenance if any debris falls off while trimming.
Open up your dryer, add wet laundry, and place three or four extra-large wool dryer balls into your dryer and turn on your dryer. Then, sit back and let these magical balls turn your dryer into a more efficient machine!
Since these extra-large wool dryer balls may reduce the amount of time it takes to dry your laundry, you may need to reduce your dry time to prevent your laundry from over-drying, which could cause your laundry to wear out faster. Many of our customer’s interchange Laundry Sauce Liquid Laundry Detergent Pod scents based on household member preference, and we haven’t heard any concerns about the scents getting mixed up in a noticeable way. Any residual fragrance in the washing machine should not impact the fragrance performance of the next wash cycle.
Yes, using vinegar in-wash will likely change or lessen the scent strength of the laundry detergent pod. That’s why we recommend using our Performance Laundry Fabric Softener to make your clothes smell as luxurious as they feel.
Use 1 pod for a regular load of laundry (6 pounds of laundry) and 2 pods for large loads or high capacity machines.
Start by drying your hands before removing the pods from the package. If you have a front-loading machine, place the liquid Laundry Detergent Pod directly to the back of the bottom of the wash drum, not into the special compartment marked for detergent. For regular top-loading machines, place liquid laundry detergent pod directly to the back of the bottom of the wash drum. For best results, do not overload your washing machine.
Next, add clothes and start the machine. For maximum scent strength, line dry or tumble dry on low heat.

We get this question a lot, and it’s a great one! Our Laundry Pod membrane is made from a water-soluble material called Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) which dissolves and biodegrades within hours after reaching septic systems or wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring it does not backup septic systems or accumulate in the environment. If your washing machine has an automatic detergent dispenser, skip the dispenser, place the detergent pod directly into the back of the bottom of the wash drum (rather than the dispenser), then place your clothes in the wash drum and start your laundry machine.
Thanks to our super-concentrated formula, Laundry Sauce Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods can remove tough stains as well or better than generic laundry detergent brands—but tough stains caused from a mixture of deodorant/antiperspirant and sweat can be tough for any laundry detergent to remove by itself. Our Principal Perfumer designed our fragrances with sensitive skin in mind, aiming to minimize skin irritation and other allergic reactions. However, Laundry Sauce fragrances are made with more high-quality natural essential oils than any other laundry detergent, and natural essential oils do contain potential allergens, so we can’t guarantee our formulas are completely hypoallergenic.
Please give Laundry Sauce a try, and if any product causes skin irritation, we’ll happily provide you with a full refund. All we ask is that you provide us with constructive feedback on your experience so we can improve our product. While Laundry Sauce was developed to fight tough stains in both cold water and warm water wash cycles, sometimes stains “set” during a wash and/or drying cycle, which can make tough stains challenging to remove using laundry detergent alone.
If your garment is soiled with grease and/or oil we recommend pre-treating the stain with a solvent-based stain remover. For example, you can rub certain types of dish soap in the soiled area, allow the dish soap to sit for 15-30 minutes before washing, wash the garment as usual using the hottest water setting that is safe for the garment. Before drying the garment, check to see if the stain is completely gone. If any trace of the stain remains, repeat the pre-treatment process before drying and rewash, if the stain is gone, you can finish with the drying cycle.
Laundry Sauce pods do not contain Cocamidopropyl Betaine. However, some of our ingredients are derived from natural sources such as palm kernel or coconut oil. We proudly use a non-oxidizing detergent formula in our laundry detergent pods. Our non-oxidizing detergent is more gentle on fabrics, less likely to irritate sensitive skin, less likely to cause color fading, more environmentally friendly, and won't break down fabric fibers as aggressively as oxidizing detergents found in other brands.

Great question! We don’t intentionally add any preservative ingredients to our Liquid Laundry Detergent Pod formula.
Hang or lay flat the garment: Before applying fabric refresher spray, make sure the garment is either hanging or laid flat on a surface. This allows for even application and better results.
Spray evenly across the fabric: Hold the bottle a 6 to 12 inches away from the garment and spray evenly across the fabric. Focus on the wrinkled areas, but avoid saturating the fabric too much.
Smooth and stretch the fabric: After spraying, gently smooth and stretch the fabric with your hands to help release the wrinkles. For tougher wrinkles, you might need to tug a bit more firmly.
Once done, let the garment air dry for a few minutes. The wrinkles should diminish as the fabric dries, leaving your clothes looking neater, free of static cling and smelling luxurious.

Our laundry products are amazing! However, we highly suggest you use laundry detergent and related laundry products that are marked as “Safe for Babies” to wash children’s clothing.
To remove any pod film, gently scrub the affected clothes with a little dish soap, let them soak for a bit, and then wash them in warm water.
For future reference, here’s how we recommend using the Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods: For front-loading machines, place liquid laundry detergent pod directly to the back of the bottom of the wash drum (not into the special compartment marked for detergent). For a regular top-loading machine, place the pod directly to the back of the bottom of the wash drum to evenly distribute the detergent in the water before it hits your clothes. Add clothes and start the machine. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat setting for maximum scent strength.

Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods should be stored in their original containers, with the lid closed and secured when not in use. Keep the pods out of the reach and sight of children and pets. Recommended storage conditions are 77°F and 50% relative humidity. Storing the laundry pods in humid areas can cause them to stick together. Laundry Pods should always be handled with dry hands.

Great question! Laundry Sauce pods typically have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years depending on storage conditions, much like other laundry detergents. The laundry pods may not spoil in a manner that causes harm, but their effectiveness diminishes after roughly 2 years when stored at proper conditions. Our benchmark storage conditions are 77°F & 50% relative humidity.
While we occasionally have customers who love our fragrances so much that they consider using the liquid for general cleaning purposes, such as mopping floors or wiping surfaces, we recommend only using these pods for laundry use.

In most cases, Laundry Sauce Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods will work great when washing down pillows, but always read the care instructions provided by the pillow manufacturer. Front-loading washing machines with no agitators work best, but any washer can be used as long as the pillows fit properly. To avoid having the feathers clump together, we recommend using our Wool Dryer Balls during the drying cycle.

We never intentionally add nickel to our laundry products. Nickel is a heavy metal that can cause allergic reactions in some people, and it’s not commonly used as an ingredient in laundry detergents, fabric softeners, or other laundry-related products.
We do not intentionally add PFAS ingredients to our laundry product formulations, and to the best of our knowledge, they should not contain any PFAS ingredients.
While we do not have a direct affiliation with the Environmental Working Group and therefore can’t comment on their rating of our ingredients, we assure you that our ingredients have undergone thorough safety testing by both private and government agencies over the past 50 years. When we started Laundry Sauce, we decided to prioritize the convenience, quality and cleaning performance of our pods. Now that we’re growing, we’re researching ways to make more sustainable swaps that either maintain or improve upon convenience, quality and performance. We are testing PVOH alternative membranes, such as seaweed-based membranes. However it is worth noting that the PVOH used in our Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods are biodegradable, so it won't harm the environment, keeping everything clean and safe for us all. Laundry Dryer Sheets are made using a non-woven polyester substrate, a synthetic fiber that can take time to decompose in landfills. While our Product Development team works to find an alternative, we have chosen to use 60% post-consumer recycled materials for our product packaging to be more eco-conscious.
