This formula is great for fabrics you throw in regular or permanent press loads like cotton, athletic wear, or polytype.
We get this question a lot, and it’s a great one! Our Laundry Pod membrane is made from a water-soluble material called Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) which dissolves and biodegrades within hours after reaching septic systems or wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring it does not backup septic systems or accumulate in the environment. More detailed information can be found in this article written by the American Cleaning Institute.
Yes, our Laundry Detergent Pods are good to use in both warm and cold water! We recommend using cold water, as it is significantly better for the environment since the cycle uses less energy to heat the water.

Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods should be stored in their original containers, with the lid closed and secured when not in use. Keep Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods out of the reach and sight of children and pets. Recommended storage conditions are 77°F and 50% relative humidity. Storing the Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods in areas of high humidity can cause them to stick together or even break open. If liquid Laundry Detergent Pods stick together, do not try to separate them. Laundry Pods should always be handled with dry hands.
For delicate fabrics, such as silk or satin, we recommend reading the wash instructions provided on the garment label as these types of fabrics are sensitive and can easily be damaged by the agitation of a washing machine and the ingredients used in harsh laundry detergents. Here are several ways for washing delicate fabrics:
Hand Wash: It's best to hand wash silk and satin in cold water using a gentle detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics.
Use a Gentle Detergent: Choose a mild detergent that is formulated for delicate fabrics. There are detergents specifically made for silk and satin.
Avoid Soaking: Do not soak silk or satin for long periods. A quick wash and rinse are sufficient.
Do Not Wring: Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing the fabric to avoid damaging the fibers.
Dry Flat: Lay the fabric flat on a clean towel to dry. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
Machine Wash (if necessary): If you must use a washing machine, place the fabric in a mesh laundry bag, use the delicate cycle, and ensure you are using a gentle detergent, such as Laundry Sauce. However, hand washing is always the safer option.
